How to survive the summer holidays with kids

Summer is for the kids, right?

HOLIDAYS WITH KIDS, A MOTHER AND A LITTLE GIRL open their arms through the window with the sea in the background

As the summer holidays approach, all mothers anticipate the opportunity to spend quality time with their children…Fun time with their precious family, making memories.

….yet many of us actually feel stressed just thinking about it?

Summer holidays should be about you too!

Social Media bombards us with pictures of friends and family members on the beach, having fun. and many of us just feel a huge pressure to create wonderful times for our children and are left exhausted and overhwelmed.

If you don’t feel well and happy, you can’t keep on caring for everyone….you know how they say put your oxygen mask on first?

So one word for you: SIMPLIFY!

Your kids are way more likely to remember a picnic at the park where you were all laughing than a zoo trip on a hot day where you were stressed.

Embrace the Power of Slowing Down:

In our busy lives, we often find ourselves caught up in schedules, commitments, and the constant need to keep up with the fast pace of modern life: juggling work and the millions things we HAVE to do.

Summer holidays offer the perfect chance to slow down and enjoy the simple pleasures of life.

Take advantage of the longer days and warmer weather by encouraging your children to explore nature, enjoy picnics in the park, or try Geocahing.

And if you have a teenager, enjoy a movie marathon or a trip to explore on of their hobby.

By slowing down, you are more likely to create a relaxed atmosphere that will give you deeper connections and joyful times as a family.

What’s for dinner…it is not all on you. Ask friends or family and again SIMPLIFY..easy meals, picnics…
